Hi I am Arushi
I started Ebb and Flow as a boutique communication consulting studio for heart-centered soul-driven businesses. It is a result of a deep personal transformation that I experienced through working with purpose-driven businesses across geographies and industries.
Through my entrepreneurial journey, I have learned a lot about myself and the power of telling raw, authentic stories. I have been challenged to step into my power to make my voice heard and in turn make their voices heard. But if you have to make a change in the world, you have to speak up.
I have also realized that balancing purpose and passion is a delicate and often difficult art. It’s for this reason that I keep my models of working, teams and budgets flexible and scalable. If a project resonates with me, I will find a way of working for it.

Lead strategy roles for agencies, startups & OTT platforms
These smaller but essential stints led me to bigger opportunities like running a full-service and first-of-its-kind digital command centre for Philips Electronics in Singapore. This multi-year project was so successful in changing the way social media was used in business planning that I was invited to speak at the prestigious Cannes Lions Festival in 2016 along with the Philips team.
I have also been fortunate enough to get to work with some of the brands I grew up loving. I was a part of the launch team for Spotify in Asia Pacific working directly with their Swedish HQ and campaign strategist for other brands like Lego and Porsche.

How did I get here
Learning the ropes in sunny Brighton
After finishing my masters at Cardiff University, I used my off term-time to work with a boutique social media agency in Brighton, UK learning the ropes of SEO, YouTube and blogging.
Landing in Singapore
After many visa issues and divine intervention, I ended up in Singapore working with Philips Electronics managing a digital campaign in their healthcare department.
Realizing that I have a LOT more to learn, I shifted focus to working with agencies and learning as much as I can. Six years later, I had climbed up the ladder to head positions but secretly started to get disillusioned with the unforgiving fast pace of Singapore.
Leap of faith… to Jakarta
Taking a leap of faith, I accepted a job in Jakarta, Indonesia which turned out to be the best and worst thing I could have done. It challenged me in all the ways I could imagine and ultimately led to me realizing that my skills (and deep passion for storytelling) was wasted on big corporate organizations.
The E Word
As if the universe was listening, I fell in love and decided to move back home to India not knowing what was next. As expected, it wasn’t a linear graph and led to various detours with stints at startups and boutique agencies which ultimately made me quit the corporate world and take the plunge into entrepreneurship.
